Value For Money
Asus has gone wild with the design of its 2022 Strix models, and you'll find all kinds of accents that you might or might not like. There's also per-key RGB keyboard backlighting and a light strip running across the front and sides. This is not an ultraportable gaming laptop but it's still convenient enough to carry around. On the inside, you get AMD's latest Ryzen 6000 series processors. Asus offers a 2560x1440p 165Hz display which is a good density for this size. It's non-reflective, crisp, and vibrant enough. It's a good match for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU. You also get 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Overall performance is strong and games are enjoyable. You might find the port selection and layout a bit lacking. This is a good laptop if you want to play high-end games for a few years without spending a huge amount of money.
