Value For Money
The Mi Notebook Ultra has a lot going for it, especially considering its price. The standout feature is its 15.6-inch 3200x2000 pixel 16:10 90Hz screen. This is great for productivity and multitasking, and although colours aren't very vivid, the anti-reflective finish makes usage pleasant. The keyboard layout isn't cramped, and the power button has an integrated fingerprint sensor. The trackpad could be better but is still decent. Xiaomi has gone with Intel's 11th Gen H35-series Core i5 and Core i7 processors, and you get either 8GB or 16GB of RAM which isn't upgradeable. All variants have a 512GB NVMe SSD. Don't expect to play any heavy 3D games, but there's more than enough power for everyday tasks. You get one Thunderbolt 4 port plus USB Type-C and an HDMI video output. The body is made of aluminium and construction quality seems good.
